Q3: How long can I expect to get the sample?
After you pay the freight charge and send us confirmed files, the samples will be ready for delivery in 3-7 days.
The samples will be sent to you via express and arrive in 3~5 days.
Q4: What about the lead time for mass production?
Honestly, it depends on the order quantity and the season you place the order. The best record we keep is delivering 10 kilometers cable within a week. Generally speaking, we suggest that you start inquiry two months before the date you would like to get the products at your country.
Voltage Rating: The "0.6/1kV" indicates the maximum voltage that the cable can handle. In this case, it is suitable for systems with a rated voltage of up to 0.6 kilovolts (kV) for phase-to-phase applications and 1 kilovolt (kV) for phase-to-ground applications.
Conductors: The conductors in ABC cables are made of aluminum, which offers good electrical conductivity and is lightweight. Aluminum conductors are commonly used in overhead power lines due to their cost-effectiveness and corrosion resistance.
Insulation: The conductors are insulated with XLPE (Cross-Linked Polyethylene), providing excellent electrical insulation properties. XLPE insulation offers high dielectric strength, thermal stability, and resistance to moisture, heat, and chemicals.
Twisted Configuration: ABC cables are designed with twisted conductors. This configuration helps to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and improve the mechanical strength of the cable. The twisting also ensures better balance and stability during installation.
Aerial Bundle Cable: The term "Aerial Bundle Cable" refers to the installation method of the cable, which is typically done overhead using support structures such as poles or towers. The cable is often bundled together with other conductors and may include additional components such as neutral wires and messenger wires.
ABC cables are commonly used for power distribution in residential areas, rural areas, and other locations where overhead installation is preferred. They offer advantages such as simplified installation, reduced maintenance costs, and improved safety due to the bundled configuration, which minimizes the risk of contact with live conductors.
It's important to note that specific standards and regulations may apply to the design, installation, and use of ABC cables in different regions. Consulting local electrical codes and engaging with qualified professionals is recommended for proper installation and adherence to safety guidelines.
